In memory of the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks, this work reflects on the fragility and vulnerability of complex systems. The abstract black-and-white structures evoke disrupted digital signals or disintegrating architectural forms. In their fragments, it becomes clear how even the smallest disturbances can unsettle stability – an evocative symbol of the susceptibility of seemingly solid orders.
