The artworks are inspired by skateboarding and its soundscape. You can hear a skateboarder from very far away when the hard wheels hit the asphalt. How you push, how fast you go, how securely you stand on the board... All this is revealed by the various sounds that emanate from a skateboard. These sounds have been with Ata Bozaci for over 35 years. So it's time to turn them into art.

A monotype is a work that is printed manually and therefore each one is unique. The black paper is printed with highly pigmented silver. Silver reflects and black absorbs the light, so the contrast is particularly strong. This color combination is often used in “street bombing”.
