Rocket Rocket pays tribute to summer and to Switzerland’s iconic Rocket ice cream, intertwining collective nostalgia with a defining moment of modern history. Referencing the 1969 moon landing – when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin first set foot on the Moon – the work draws a playful parallel between global achievement and everyday cultural ritual. Introduced in the same summer, the orange-and-white ice cream with its distinctive chocolate tip has become a lasting symbol of joy, memory, and shared experience across generations.
